Elizabeth has no hesitation in giving honour to Mary. She calls her the mother of my Lord. (Mother of God). She is the mother of Jesus who is God therefore the Church calls her “Mother of God”. John the Baptist leapt for joy at the sound of her voice and the angel of God addresses her Hail, full of grace.
Martin Luther’s followers want to call his movement a Reformation when in fact it was a rebellion against the One True Church instituted by Jesus Christ. Luther rejected Jesus telling us that He established His One Church on the foundation of the twelve apostles and that St. Peter was the Rock upon which He would build his Church. He rejected his oaths to God that he would be obedient to the Church and to the Authority of the Pope. Based on a false premise, he instituted a new church and proclaimed that all authority in the Church comes from the ‘Bible Alone’.
The Canadian bishops have further cooperated with the government’s Covid-19 program to address the so called “pandemic” by agreeing to close our churches and deny access to the Sacraments of Holy Eucharist, Confession and the Sacrament of the Sick. In the past where the Communist governments of Russia and China forcibly closed our churches we had no trouble identifying it as evil. Today our bishops willingly close our churches in exchange for money; even though “we can never use evil means to accomplish a perceived good.”
There is no legal right to abortion under Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms, but that doesn’t stop Mr. Trudeau from making the declaration by his own decree. While he generously allows Canadians to believe whatever they want, if they interfere with his beliefs then there are going to be consequences. People of conscience in Canada have been put on notice that if they defy Prime Minister Justin Trudeau they will be considered second class citizen who can be discriminated against and punished at his pleasure.
The scathing indictment by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s report of the government’s overall failure was not something that Trudeau wanted to own up to just before an election. He therefore seized the opportunity to portray the Catholic Church as the culprit responsible for the deaths of the Indigenous school children. To create the scenario, Trudeau publicly called on Pope Francis to come to Canada and personally apologize to the Indigenous people. The government subsidised media picked up on Trudeau’s agenda and promoted a smear campaign against the Catholic Church.
Canada is the only democratic country in the world with no legislation to protect unborn children or for the protection of women against being coerced into having an abortion. Canada murders almost 100,000 babies through abortion every year. These helpless baby Canadians are not given the choice for life but are considered non-persons until they have been born. Only then are they considered citizens entitled to have legal rights.
Trudeau’s totalitarian mind set was evident even before his election when he prohibited any pro-life person from running as a Liberal Party candidate. As Prime Minister, he threatened to withhold healthcare funding to the province of Prince Edward Island if they didn’t arrange to provide for abortions. In July of this year he issued a similar threat to New Brunswick. Even though abortion is not a legal right and management of health services is a provincial jurisdiction, Trudeau thinks that he has the authority to pay or withhold health funding on the bases of his personal obsession for murdering more unborn babies.

In the year 2020, Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau declared a state of emergency due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With this supposed threat to the health of the country’s citizens, he suspended their rights guaranteed under the ‘Charter of Rights and Freedoms’ and attributed to himself the powers of an absolute dictator. Being an admitted great admirer of Chairman Jin Ping of Communist China, this was like a dream come true for Trudeau.
We may look at our own diocese of Antigonish to see the effects of Modernism which Pope St. Pius Xth called the synthesis of all heresies. The mess we are in began when the bishop and priests betrayed Pope Paul VI over Humanae Vitae.
People can identify themselves as a university student, a police officer, a next door neighbour, someone’s son or daughter, husband or wife but not have an understanding of who they are as a person. Can they answer for themselves; Where did I come from? What is the purpose of my life? Is there a life after death? Why is there evil in the world? Is there such a thing as objective truth or true justice? Are there consequences for my actions in this life? If so, who will be my judge? Do I believe in God?
It's clear from the candidates’ comments, that none of the candidates is competent to engage in the discussion on abortion, let alone provide any justification for the stand that they are so eager to embrace. It would benefit them greatly to care enough to become educated about some facts regarding abortions in Canada.
How the modernists interpreted and taught the documents is what resulted in the current devastation. In the diocese of Antigonish, priests at St. F.X. were among the first public dissenters against ‘Humanae Vitae’ and then Bishop William Power sided with them. The university degenerated from its Catholic roots until finally the Board of Governors formally voted to no longer be Catholic and started promoting St. F X as being an undergraduate university with a “Catholic Heritage”.
Modernist concepts did not come from the laity but as with all heresies it was started by bishops and priests. They promoted the idea that the Church was heading for a crises, although this only existed in their own minds. In order to avert the crisis, they insisted that the Church had to change in order to appeal to modern people.
The roots of Modernism go back to the French Revolution’s ‘Declaration of The Rights of Man’ which promoted the concepts of religious pluralism, equality of religions, separation of Church and State, and etc. It was influenced by the Protestant Rebellion of Martin Luther who adopted the philosophy of nominalism which embraced the physical world as reality while dumbing down supernatural integration.
In recent years we have been experiencing the phenomena where a number of bishops and priests are promoting the ALPHA program, a Protestantization of the faith of Catholics.
